The skyline of Downtown Toronto. The Castle-looking building in the front (the Royal York Fairmont Hotel) is what used to be the highest building in Toronto til about 20-25 years ago when all the banks started to build their sky scrapes.

The CN Tower, the world's tallest building with it's 553 meters (at least that what they say on the CN Tower homepage...but I thought the tallest buildning was somewhere in Asia..). It has a spectacular view on a clear day, but as it costs you $25 to get to see it, I personally don't think it is worth it...but that's me!

Oh Canada

"O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,The True North strong and free!

From far and wide, O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee."

As V actually is a Canadian, I guess we have to learn the National Anthem lyrics...

If you remeber I made a joke about the Americans beeing very patriotic earlier on the blog - well the Canadians aren't much less proud over their country. Flags everywhere. This one belongs to the Royal York Fairmont Hotel, downtown Toronto.

The Harbourfront and the ferries going to the Toronto Islands during summertime. Still havn't managed to get there but I'm looking forward to bring Vendela out there for a pick-nick next summer.
