This is V in Gabriella's Bumbo seat.....
She really liked it, and of course we need to get one as well.
Man, babies can drive you bankrupt!!!

Peekaboo!
V looking very "lurig" as she just woke up from one of her Afternoon naps.
The Frog vs. The Cameleon
V and G all set to go - let the Bugaboo race begin!
Bugaboo is, by far, the most popular stroller Brand in Toronto.

Gabriella right in the middle of a big yawn....beeing out shopping is exhausting!

Me and V at Quiznoz, where we had lunch today. A 6" Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich on whole weat is never wrong!

Today I met up with Linda J and Gabriella, and we took a walk in the very mixed weather;
Sun and rain - shifting very quickly!
Linda was on the hunt for a new winter jacket for herself and she was successful:-)!
Amazingly I didn't shop anything.....I must be loosing it!
Playing and sucking on her hand, that's how life's supposed to be when you're 3 months old! This is early Monday morning around 7.30 am when V decided she didn't want to sleep anylonger....and mommie had to follow - Zzzzzzzzz :-)

What more to say....babie's feet - the most wonderful part of their body. So soft and tiny!

This is my other friend Linda (S) and V at Bata Shoe Museum. Linda has been here for some years now, and at the moment she's studying to be a teacher at the Toronto University. She's also one heck of a floorball player and she's a really valueable member in our team - GWB, also known as Girls With Balls:-) Catchy eh?

This SUPERbig Cowboy boot, is to be seen at the Bata Shoe Museum where Linda S and I were today. A great place, highly recommended for shoe lovers such as myself.
The Bata Shoe Museum shows shoes from all over the world and from different times - it's really fun to see the shoe's development over the years, both when it comes to look and functionality.
If you're ever in Toronto, add Bata Shoe Museum to your sightseeing list. For more information and what exhibitions that are on visit: http://www.batashoemuseum.ca/
Linda and Gabriella.
Gabriella is 6 weeks older than V, and hopefully they will be very good friends once they understand they can actually play with each other.

Linda, her daugther Gabriella and the Swedish priest, Anna Runesson.

Me and V....who is asleep in the stroller. Also in the picture, cutie Amelia 16 months:-)
Yesterday (Thursday) my friend Linda J and I went to the children's song group at the Swedish church. Every Thursday a bunch of Swedish mommies and their children gather to let the kids blow off some steam and to chat and have a "fika"....and of course sing all the swedish child songs like; Blinka lilla stjärna, Min hatt, I ett skog vid skogens slut, Imse vimse spindel etc. Linda and I agreed on that we need to practice.... :-)

No, we haven't got any snow..... yet! But I don't think it is too far away, 'cause now it is really getting colder and more greyish outside.
This is a picture from last winter and this is our house. A lot of people (who haven't visited us yet) were wondering how we live - and this is it! 2 floors, kitchen, livingroom, 3 ½ bedrooms (the ½ belongs to Vendela), a total of 4 bathrooms and a basement.
Also seen on the pic is my car, a really nice Fusion Blue Saab (what else?) 9-3 Aero, 250 hp V6.
Only the best is good enough .... and I don't mind:-)

This is our Pumpkin after her bath - and YES!!!!! finally we can do the baths without any crying at all! Bathing has been the most hated feature of the day, all categories, but with hard and persistant work from mommie's side - we have now managed to turn this into something she seems to enjoy, hmmm, well.... let's not exaggerate; at least she's not crying anylonger.....:-)!
Oh, one more thing..... Today V managed to turn over from belly mode to her back - all by her self! Such things makes a mother proud:-).

GO LEAFS, GO!
This is the outfit V wore today at her first ever (and perhaps only) TV-apperance. We (V and myself, and other wifes, fiancées, relatives and friends of players in Toronto Maple Leafs) were on the morningshow "Breakfast TV", showing off the NHL's new Women & Childrens Clothing line. V was really nice and happy the whole time.....until it was time to air
- then she fell asleep !
Anyway, we'll get a recorded copy of the appearance, so she can watch when she gets older:-)
If you would like to see the appearence, you can do so here:

Nowdays everything goes into the mounth. Here is it the brand new toy, which needs to be carefully examined and tasted upon.
How yummie!

Warning!
If you're ever in Toronto and need to park, be sure you actually get back to the car in time!
Toronto is loaded with policemen and parking attandents - so watch out!
I have now managed to get two parking tickets within one week......and it's getting expensive, and M is not so happy with me:-(

It is so fun to watch V!!! We notice progresses every day and she's developing new skills constantly. I.e. now she reaches out and grab things, and she really likes sitting in her Baby Björnen sitter playing with the toys in front of her.
Shabu-Shabu...mmmmm, very tasty, and perfect food for chilly autumn/winter days!
Daddy and V on our way to the neighbourhood Japanese restaurant, SONO, to celebrate V's 3-months birthday, which ouccured yesterday! Observe V sleeping in the very comfortable Baby Björnen. She just loves to sit in this now, normally facing outwards, checking out what's happening around her.V in close-up.....As already stated; napping is her hobby!

On Sunday we went down to the Distrillery District to chill.... there are a lot of Art Galleries, Restaurants and cool furniture stores down there. Saab has a partnership with a really nice store, named Fluid Living, and yesterday they had a test driving event. If you test drove a car, you got 25% off merchandise in the store - so we also got some shopping done:-)

How cool isn't the license plate on V's stroller? I've got so many comments on this one, so I think I could start importing plates and sell them on. I bet I'd make a fortune! It shows her name, nationality and birth date.
V got the plate as a gift from my four ex IHM-colleagues; Mathias, Roger, Per and Peter. Thanks so much guys - it's just the best !

...... but she gets easily tired and needs a rest!!! And who wouldn't after that kind of workout?!

V is now getting pretty strong in the neck, so she can without problems lift her head and turn it from one side to the other, when being on the stomach....

This is myself and M, on Friday night when we had dinner with friends at Milagro Mexican Restaurant on Mercer St W. A really neat place with great food and awesome Mojatos, which is a Mojito, but with tequila.

The occasion was to celebrate the now leagal immigrant, Juha, who has become a permanent Canadian resident.

Sleeping Beauty
Holding on to dad's hand - just in case something happens! V is a pretty good sleeper, even if she's a lot more awake nowdays, compared to just a month ago. But you could still say that napping is her main hobby:-)

After almost a year in Toronto it was time to get cultural.... visted one of the few historical points of interest - Casa Loma. Casa Loma is a castle on a hill overlooking downtown Toronto, which the outstanding entrepreneur, Sir Henry Pellatt created for him and his wife. He was the richest man in Canada and the cost of building this castle was an amazing $3.5 millions back in 1911. This project in combination with business failures drove him bankrupt. Read more about this very interesting man and the history of Casa Loma at: http://www.casaloma.org/

J and V. What can we say - he's a natural:-)!

First encounter! V and J's & A's gorgeous dog, Abbey. Abbey loves children and was really curious of V. V seemed to like her too:-)

Our friends J and A invited us to their cottage north of Oshawa for Thanksgiving dinner. Their place is just lovely, located right by the lake. This is A relaxing with a glass of really nice red in the sunshine.

Obviously I learned pretty quickly how to post pictures, which is a must-know-how, as family and friends most certainly want pictures!

This is our precious Vendela, she will probably be THE star of this Blog spot!
Exciting! This is the very first post on this blog!!!! I'm not very familiar with the "technique" of monitoring a blog, but I learn along the way. Have no clue how to post pictures to the text so far.... but I'll get there - hopefully:-)
